There are a number of different types of electrodes for specific clinical applications.

The electrode is selected depending on the size and number of cancer nodules to be treated. The electric field is applied to each individual pair of adjacent needles, in a sequence controlled by the IGEA CLINIPORATOR™ machine. This electrical current induces the process of electroporation.

 

Adjustable hexagonal configuration needle electrodes

For treatment of cutaneous and subcutaneous lesions up to 3 cm deep. Depth of needle penetration can be pre-set 5-30 mm. Avoids convergence of the needles and assures better control during skin penetration.

Adjustable linear needle electrodes

For the treatment of cutaneous and subcutaneous lesions up to 3 cm deep. Depth of needle penetration can be pre-set 5-30 mm. Avoids convergence of the needles and assures better control during skin penetration.

For the treatment of cutaneous and subcutaneous lesions up to 3 cm deep. The two rows of needles are 4 mm apart.

For the treatment of small lesions in difficult to access body cavities e.g. oral cavity, anal canal and vagina.
